It can be scary asking for help when you’re not sure what it will look like. We get it.
When you arrive at Compassion Place, you’ll be greeted by one of our friendly Client Advocates. She’ll lead you into our bright and comfy support room where she will walk you through an intake questionnaire. It’s an opportunity to get to know you, to understand your personal situation and for you to be heard.
If you need a pregnancy test, she will explain the proper way to collect and administer your test and lead you to the restroom, where you will be left in privacy. While you wait for the results, you can ask questions, discuss our services, or get to know each other. We’re here for you—to listen, to support.
Coming in for Options Support? Your Client Advocate will provide a safe space where you can work through all three options, giving you as much time as you need to ask questions, talk about your unique situation and share your thoughts and feelings. After your options have been discussed, your Advocate will provide you with a journal to unpack your thoughts over the next few days and book a follow-up appointment.
If you made an appointment for Parenting Support, we’ll sit in our cozy support room and just chat—maybe have a cup of tea together. We’re all moms here, so trust me when I say if you’re thinking it, we probably did, too!!! Be vulnerable! Be transparent! We’ve been there!
Perhaps you need some one-on-one time to really learn and understand what’s happening in your body and what to expect during childbirth. We know it can be scary, especially for first-time moms. Our equipped team will guide you through a personalized lesson plan. There are no questions off-limits!
Are you coming in because you need some material support? We’ll go through the same intake questionnaire with you, chat about your unique situation, suggest some community resources, and explain how our Blessings Boutique works. Then we’ll shop together!
Whatever the reason for your visit today, we want you to know we’re here for you. To Listen. To Encourage. To Support.
